Live Streaming: ICAO’s Fourteenth Symposium on the ICAO Traveller Identification Programme

Welcome to the page where we will be live-streaming ICAO’s Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) Symposium as it is taking place at ICAO Headquarters from 23 to 25 October 2018.  Though we will be broadcasting all of the presentations on YouTube Live, you can follow the broadcasts on this page by scrolling below to the event playlists. After the broadcasts, the videos will be made available for on-demand viewing right here.

The ICAO TRIP Strategy recognizes the need for a holistic and integrated approach to traveller identification management. This Symposium will address the five elements of the ICAO TRIP Strategy that include: evidence of identity; machine readable travel documents (MRTDs); specifications and best practices for document issuance; identification management;  and related border security issues.

During the event in Montréal, an exhibition is being held as a complement to the Symposium. Exhibitors will be showcasing a broad range of products and services that relate to travel document security applications, border inspection and automated border control systems, and identity management.  On the second day of the event, we will be live recording 20-minute presentations by some of the sponsors and exhibitors as they introduce their products and services. Make sure to catch all of the recordings – they will become available as the sessions occur!
